Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address and payment details — handled by our payment processor when you buy. The processor sends your receipt and gives us only limited transaction details (such as confirmation of purchase and your email). We never see or store your full card number.
• What you tell us about your table — after you buy, you fill in a short form: who eats at the table (roles and rough age ranges, not names or birthdays), foods that have to be left out, foods people won't eat, meals that already work, and how much time and equipment you have on a weeknight. This is the input our software reads to generate your cards.
• How a night went — if you tell us what your table thought of a dish, we keep that alongside your form so the software can take it into account for the nights that follow.
• Basic website usage — cookieless, aggregate stats about visits to our pages, plus limited ad-measurement data from our public landing page when we're running ads (both described under "Cookies and analytics" below).

We ask you to name foods to leave out, never a condition, a diagnosis, or a medication — and if that kind of detail arrives anyway, we take it out.

Where your family's details sit

Your form answers and any feedback you send are collected through Google Forms and stored in a Google Sheet in our own account, with Google acting as our provider. From there they go into the software that generates your cards. They are used for exactly two things: generating and delivering your cards, and evaluating and improving Family Recipe. Nothing else, and never for anyone else's advertising.

Your cards live on a private web page for your household at an unguessable address. That page carries no advertising trackers and asks search engines not to index it. Treat its link like a password — anyone who has it can see your cards.

If we invited you before launch

Ahead of opening this to buyers, we emailed a small number of families the same kind of questionnaire so we could test the product on real tables. Those answers are held the same way, used for the same two purposes, and deleted on the same schedule as everyone else's. It reaches us only if you were invited and chose to fill it in — it is never asked for on this website.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. Apart from the ad-measurement Pixel on our public landing page (described below), we don't share your information for anyone else's advertising. We rely on a small set of trusted providers, and share only what each one needs:

• Creem — processes your payment as our Merchant of Record and sends your receipt.
• Google — provides the form and the spreadsheet behind your intake and feedback answers, and holds them on our behalf until we delete them.
• Our email delivery provider — delivers your dinner cards to your inbox. It receives your email address and the contents of the card, nothing more.
• Plausible — privacy-friendly website analytics that does not use cookies and does not identify you.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — when we run ads, our public landing page can load Meta's Pixel to measure how well those ads work. It shares limited information about that visit — such as page views and basic device and browser data — with Meta, which may use it under its own terms. It runs only on our public landing page and isn't active unless we're advertising. You can limit it through your browser's tracking settings or your Meta ad preferences.

Creem acts as our Merchant of Record and independent seller of record for your payment; Google, our email delivery provider, and Plausible process data on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy and data-processing terms. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

Our analytics (Plausible) is cookieless and counts visits without identifying you. When we run ads, our landing page can load the Meta Pixel for ad measurement, which does use cookies; every other page carries no advertising trackers. We don't currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals, but you can block trackers in your browser settings and opt out of Meta ad tracking in your Meta preferences.

How long we keep it

We delete your form answers, your feedback, and their spreadsheet rows within 30 days of your last dinner card — or sooner, the moment you ask. Your private cookbook page comes down at the same time. The only thing we hold after that is your purchase record — your email and the transaction details tied to it — which we keep for as long as our payment processor or the law requires us to keep proof of a past sale, and no longer than needed.

Your choices

Email us any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. One message is enough — write to support@mykitchen-labs.fit. We'll confirm and complete your request within 30 days and ask our providers to do the same. We may keep the minimum records our payment processor or the law requires us to retain, such as proof of a past transaction.

Children

Everything here is bought, filled in, and answered by the adult running a household. Children don't buy or interact with anything, and we never ask a child anything directly. When you describe younger eaters we ask for roles and rough age ranges only ("a kid around 7"), never a child's name, birthday, or any condition — and the whole response is deleted within 30 days of your last card.

Changes to this policy

If we update how we handle your information, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top, and tell you by email if the change is significant. Any change applies going forward only — it won't quietly change how we use information you've already shared, and we'll ask first before a materially new use where the law requires it.
